Colorado Special Districts (including Catamount Metropolitan District) hold elections for the election of directors to serve on the District’s Board in May of even numbered years. The next District election will be in May 2027.

Board Eligibility

In order to be eligible to run for a Board seat a person must be an “eligible elector” in the District which is defined as a registered voter of Colorado and either:

• A resident of the District for not less than 30 days
• The owner (or spouse of the owner) of taxable real or personal property situated in the District
• A person obligated to pay taxes under a contract of purchase taxable property
